NZSME is a New Zealand limited liability company, led by a board of directors with clear duties under the Companies Act 1993. Members' voice shapes our direction through our advisory board and ongoing consultation, and because we operate not-for-profit, every dollar is reinvested to serve New Zealand's small businesses.
Independent and Non-Partisan
We are not aligned to any political party. An independence policy and limits on any single funder's contribution protect our voice from capture and keep our advocacy squarely in members' interests.
Sustainably Funded
We are funded through a mix of membership, partnerships and earned income, structured to keep us independent and built to last — no single funder can control our voice.
